Office-bearers of Haripur Press Club elected
HARIPUR: The office-bearers of the Haripur Press Club for the year 2024/26 were elected here on Wednesday. As per results announced by the election commission, Zakir Hussain Tanoli was elected as president and Hafiz Javedul Haq general secretary.
The other office bearers include Arshad Mehmood senior vice-president, Malik Jamil Khan, vice-president I, Qazi Nisar Ahmed as vice-president II, Mehmood Akhtar joint secretary and Shehzad Tanoli secretary coordination. Ishaq Khan and Ishaq Rajput have already been elected as office secretary and Finance secretary unopposed, respectively.
The election was held on the orders of the Labor Court Haripur following its registration under Industrial Relations Act 2010. Regional Information Officer Ikram Ullah Shahid performed as chairman election commission while Advocate Asad Saeed Khan, president District Bar Association, and Advocate Saifullah Khan Qureshi were the members of the election commission deputed by the Labor Court.
