Sub-Inspector and Head Constable were assisting damaged vehicle near Butgram when they were struck by negligent driver

Islamabad: The funeral prayers of Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed held with full state honours, was attended by Inspector General (IG) National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Salman Chaudhry, Additional IG North Region Yasin Farooq, senior officers, and a large number of local residents, says a press release.
Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed and Head Constable Sohail Malik were assisting a damaged vehicle near Butgram when they were struck by a negligent driver. Despite being taken to DHQ Butgram and later to AMC Abbottabad due to severe injuries, Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed succumbed to his injuries and embraced martyrdom.
