LAHORE: A joint venture involving Pearl Continental Hotels, Warm Waters Advisory Group, Platinum Construction Limited, and Golfscape LDA Portugal has acquired the lease of Lahore’s Royal Palm Golf & Country Club for 25 years.
The financial bid for the club was opened at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters on Tuesday. It is worth-noting that the bidding process, initiated by the Pakistan Railways under the supervision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in January 2022, has now been completed. A spokesperson for the winning joint venture said that after securing the lease, they were committed to transforming the club into a premier location for family entertainment, recreation, and golfing. To achieve this, investments will be made in renovation and upgrading of the golf course, sports facilities, dining areas, and event spaces.
Additionally, the club will see construction of at least 100 five-star guest rooms, all offering the views of the golf course.
