Over 300 BS-18 officials to be promoted today
According to sources, recommendations will be made for promotion of officers on 88 posts of PSP and more than 200 posts of PAS
ISLAMABAD: A departmental selection board meeting for promotion from BS-18 to 19 in the federal bureaucracy will be held today.
The meeting will be chaired by Establishment Division the Secretary Inamullah Dharejo. The departmental selection board will approve the promotion of more than 300 officers from grades 18 to 19. According to the Establishment Division, the approval of the promotion of Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Office Management Group and X-cadre officers will be given in the board meeting. According to sources, recommendations will be made for promotion of officers on 88 posts of Police Service of Pakistan and more than 200 posts of Pakistan Administrative Service.
Promotion cases of officers not declaring assets and facing inquiries will not be considered in the board meeting. Chief Secretaries of the four provinces, IGs Police, Additional Secretary to Establishment Division, Additional Secretary Law, Joint Secretary Career Planning, Establishment Division and heads of departments concerned or Joint Secretary Admin Departmental Selection Board will attend the meeting.
