Global temperatures are rising and the effects have been disastrous. Climate change's effects are visible everywhere, from hot cities to dry farmlands. What was once deemed extreme heat has now become the new normal. From the continuous heatwaves to the wildfires and melting glaciers, the indicators are clear: our world is in trouble. To stop this trend, we must dramatically cut our dependency on fossil fuels and shift to renewable energy.
Investing in renewable technologies, increasing energy efficiency, and conserving our forests are all critical initiatives. In addition, we must adapt to climate change by establishing resilient communities, creating early warning systems, and assisting vulnerable populations.
