Borderless problem

As a Pakistani observing the recent devastating floods in Texas, I feel deeply saddened by the images of destruction, displacement and the tragic loss of innocent lives, including children. In Pakistan, we too have faced the wrath of floods and I understand how such calamities change lives within hours, washing away homes, livelihoods and dreams.
We live in an era where climate change is intensifying weather patterns, making floods more frequent and severe, whether in Texas or Pakistan. I believe this disaster is not just a natural tragedy but a reminder that the world needs to prioritise disaster management, early warning systems and climate resilience.
