Nida Dar disappointed after narrow loss
LAHORE: Pakistan women's captain Nida Dar expressed disappointment after a heartbreaking three-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the ACC Women's T20 Asia Cup.
Despite the defeat, Dar praised her team's performance, highlighting the exceptional batting partnership between Gul Feroza and Muneeba Ali. She also commended the bowling efforts of young spinners Aroob and Tuba, as well as the experienced Sadia Iqbal.
Dar acknowledged the areas where the team needs to improve, such as batting and fielding fitness, and emphasised the importance of following the team's game plan.
She also expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the team and the valuable experience gained from the tournament, which will serve as good preparation for the World Cup.
