Knives, phones found during Sukkur jail search operation

SUKKUR: A search of Central Jail-1 Sukkur uncovered a large quantity of sharp knives and mobile phones, prompting the transfer of 68 dangerous prisoners to other Sindh jails.
Police and Frontier Corps in a joint raid seized sharp knives and mobile phones from the prisoners.
The Jail Superintendent, Agha Zulfiqar Pathan, confirmed the recent operation that resulted in the recovery of eight mobile phones and various sharp weapons, such as knives, within the jail premises.
The 68 prisoners were transferred to Karachi, Hyderabad, and Larkana jails. An investigation is going on to determine how the knives and mobile phones reached the prisoners.
