Ministry to table summary to let special court hear official secrets law cases
The cabinet would also approve the appointment of the federal drug inspector
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet on Wednesday (today).
The Cabinet Division has issued a nine-point agenda for the meeting.
Minister for Law and Justice would present a summary for reorganization of Accountability Courts. The ministry would also place another summary before the cabinet to authorize Special Court 2 (Anti Terrorists Court), Islamabad, to hear cases under the Official Secret Act 1923.
The cabinet would also approve the appointment of the federal drug inspector.
The meeting would also ratify memorandum of understanding (MoU) reached between the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Ministry of Labour, Qatar.
The federal cabinet would also take up a summary of Ministry of Planning and Development to accord approval of five-year Federal Public-Private Partnership.
Moreover, the meeting would also discuss a bill of National Institute of Modern Science, Wah Cantt. It would also allow Pakistan’s Ambassador Manzoor Chaudhry to receive an award from the Ivory Coast government.
