Prince William ‘idea of fun’ with Kate Middleton laid bare

Prince William had an unconventional interest to spend his spare time.

The Prince of Wales reportedly likes to sit back and relax alongside wife Kate Middleton, as they have themselves television time.

As per new book, Elizabeth II: In Private. In Public. Her Story, royal author Robert Hardman compares William with his father, King Charles.

He notes: “The King is the one who still enjoys sitting up writing letters into the night whereas Prince William’s idea of a fun evening, says one of his team, is to ‘sit down with the Princess in front of The Traitors.’”

Back in 2025, producer Stephen Lambert was awarded with an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for the show.

“My award is for services to television, and we started talking about Celebrity Traitors," Lambert said.

William at the time told that “he and the family were very much looking forward to watching it. It was going to be a big treat for them and probably for the nation, he expected."

This comes amid Kate’s efforts to build bridges between William and his younger brother , Prince Harry.

An insider says: “Kate has tried so hard to stay above the drama but at this point she has to step in. Not only does she find Meghan’s whole charade totally disrespectful; she also knows how much it enrages William and truly upsets him to his core.”

“Here she is doing all she can to broker peace between these two brothers and anytime she makes any small progress it seems like Meghan does something that sets William off again,” they noted.
