BUREWALA: Vehari Deputy Commissioner (DC) Syed Asif Hussain Shah Monday visited wheat purchase centres. The DC inspected facilities for farmers at PR Centre and Bani Shell centre.On the occasion, the DC stressed the need of facilities for poor farmers and asked the authorities concerned to arrange water and proper shade for farmers.
The DC urged farmers to register their details on the Bardana App by April 17th as wheat sacks distribution will be based solely on verified app registrations. He said the Punjab government will purchase wheat from farmers at rate of Rs 3,900 per 40 kg and farmers cultivating up to 6 acres can register on the “Bardana App” to obtain Bardana for wheat storage.
