MANSEHRA: Tehreek-i-Sooba Hazara (TSH) chairman Mushtaq Khan Advocate on Sunday said the political parties should honour their commitments with the people about the separate province.
“Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz which had made creation of Hazara province as part of its manifesto in the February 8 general election should now make sincere efforts and table a resolution in the National Assembly seeking a province status for Hazara,” he told reporters here.
Flanked by the senior lawyers, including Muhammad Saleem Awan, Sardar Mohammad Salman, Gulnawaz Khan and Mohammad Javed Khan, he said the PMLN and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf should table Hazara province resolutions in the National Assembly as well as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
“Our struggle which was launched some almost 40 years ago for the separate province of Hazara is still on. And we will never deviate from our demand as it is our constitutional right,” Mushtaq Khan said.
The TSH chairman said the country was passing through a difficult juncture in its history owing to the financial and political challenges.
He said that though mainstream political parties were playing politics in the name of more federating units in the country, none of them took serious measures for the creation of Hazara and other provinces in the country.
