‘Danish School being set up in Karachi for poor, orphan kids’

Federal Secretary for Education and Professional Training Mohiuddin Wani has said that a Danish School is being established in Karachi.

In the Danish School, the deserving, needy and orphan children will be educated from 6th standard to intermediate. While preparing a curriculum to start teaching entrepreneurship at the matriculation and intermediate level in government schools across the country, he was speaking exclusively to The News on Thursday.

The federal education secretary further said that the children studying in Danish schools in Punjab are not only given absolutely free education without any fee, but food and accommodation are also provided.

In response to a question, he said the government schools in Islamabad are being digitized for improvement while work has been started to align the curriculum of schools and colleges with modern requirements. In response to a question, he said that practical steps had been taken to improve and increase the number of public schools in Islamabad, the results of which would be revealed soon.
