LAHORE: A police executive board meeting was held at Central Police Office on Friday. The raising of Punjab Mounted Police Force, inclusion of band staff in Telecommunication Wing and other welfare initiatives were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of various development projects, welfare measures of the force. Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, on this occasion, issued orders and said that the proposals should be finalised and presented in the next meeting for decision-making.
He further said that the supervisory officers should complete all the ongoing projects within the stipulated time line. Additional IG South Punjab, Managing Director Punjab Safe Cities Authority participated through video link while Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Ch, Additional Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Welfare M Riaz Nazir Gara, Additional IG CTD Waseem Sial, Commandant Punjab Constabulary Imran Arshad, Additional Inspector General Police Punjab Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) Rao Abdul Karim, Additional IG Traffic Mirza Faran Baig and Additional IG Elite Waqar Abbasi, heads of all departments, DIGs and other senior officers were also present.
