WANA: One office each was established under the Merged Area Governance Programme in the village council in Gulkach Killay and village council Zalai to facilitate the residents in getting birth and death certificates.
The local elders said the devolving powers at the grassroots level was a good omen for the area’s people as they would now receive their birth and death certificates at the council level without wasting their time and money on traveling. They said the residents of far-off areas were compelled to visit the offices several times for such certificates but now they would be facilitated at the local level.
