PESHAWAR: Health experts here on Saturday discussed new developments, researches and the testing of new interventions in the field of cardiology.
A press release said that the Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) hosted its Annual Cardiology Conference, bringing together experts in the field for a meaningful exchange of knowledge.
The event was dedicated to advancing cardiac care in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It featured insightful discussions on pivotal topics such as left main disease management, the future of cardiovascular interventions, and adult
congenital heart disease management.
Afsar Raza from London, Dr Naeem Tahirkheli from US, Prof Zubair Akram from Lahore, Prof Maadullah Khan from Rawalpindi and others shared their expertise, fostering engaging conversations among participants.
Dr Miqdad Ali Khan, Head of Department Cardiology at RMI and the conference’s patron, underscored the significance of such collaborative gatherings. He said, “The knowledge exchanged during these sessions undeniably contributes to our collective growth and innovation in cardiovascular disease management.”
The conference served as a platform to highlight RMI’s commitment to delivering exceptional cardiac care, attracting leading experts from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kabul.
