ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Arshad Ali Jadoon as Chairman of Press Council of Pakistan (PCP) for a period of three years.
Samina Fayyaz, a BS20 official of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, has been repatriated to the Auditor General of Pakistan from National School of Public Policy.
In the light of decision of the federal cabinet last week, Ms Durcheen Marri has been appointed as chairperson of the Pemra Council of Complaints, Balochistan. Members of the council include Attaullah Kalpar Bugti, Afzal Murad, Maryam Tanveer and Alam Zeb Marri. The council had been dysfunctional since August 14 due to non-appointment of its chairman and members. New chairperson and members have been selected through a process of interviews.
