Russell Crowe hits back at TMZ after expletive-laden video goes viral
Russell Crowe warned fans against pushing in on him as they gathered to take autographs
Russell Crowe delivered a brief, powerful, expletive-laden warning after he felt surrounded by fans waiting for autographs in Paris.
“Stay where you are, don’t f***ing push in on me. I’ll come to you! Give everybody space. As soon as somebody’s a d**k I’m gone,” said the actor as soon as he came out of a hotel.
According to Variety, when one fan asked the actor if he’d add the name “Maximus”, Crowe’s character in Gladiator, to his signature, he declined before moving on to another fan.
Later, TMZ criticized him on X with the caption, "If you needed a reminder that fans are not always priority No. 1 -- turn to Russell Crowe -- cause the guy was absolutely not having it outside of his Paris hotel. "
The actor hit back at the news outlet writing, “Clickbait. Everybody got their autograph and selfie, the passage to the hotel was kept free for guests, and I still got to the airport on time. One man, no security. Handled. What’s your problem?”
