Shakira had two sons with former partner and star footballer Gerard Pique
An undated video of Shakira cheering on her son during a football game has been used to criticize her former partner, Gerard Pique, a former football star.
More than four million people have seen the video shared on X with the caption, "Imagine your dad being one of the biggest football players ever and still missing your games, while your mom is SHAKIRA and goes to every single one."
Shakira has two sons, Milan and Sasha, whom she shares with her ex-partner, Gerard Piqué. Milan was born in January 2013, and Sasha was born in January 2015.
The Colombian singer and former FC Barcelona defender announced their separation in 2022.
"We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy," the former couple had said in a statement at the time.
Shakira and Pique, 35 were together since 2011 and had two children. They met shortly before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, when he featured in the music video for Shakira's "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)", the tournament's official song.
