Former Duke of York Andrew wants his prince title back and the royal status restored after winning the legal battle, a royal expert has claimed.

Citing the insiders, royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed this in his latest piece for Naughty But Nice substack.

Rob claimed Andrew is already looking beyond the courtroom, and straight toward the Palace.

“He wants his prince title back. He wants his royal status restored. He wants his old life back,” the insider explains. “In Andrew’s mind, this ruling changes everything.”

Princess Eugenie and Beatrice father thinks “he’s been vindicated,” the insider said and added “He believes the authorities got it wrong, and now he wants everyone who turned their backs on him to admit they were wrong, too.”

The fresh claims came a day after police on Thursday said that search warrants they secured to search properties linked to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had been issued unlawfully and must be quashed, but said the investigation into King Charles younger brother was ongoing.

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February, linked to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and searches were carried out at properties in Sandringham, eastern England, and Windsor.

However, subsequently Mountbatten-Windsor, who has not made any public comment since his arrest, launched a legal challenge and applied for the search warrants to be quashed.

Thames Valley Police said it now agreed these had not been properly granted by the courts.
