Why Charlize Theron refusing to let her daughters take her designer clothes?

Charlize Theron is saving her stylish clothes for her two daughters but for now, the designer dresses are under lock and key.

The 51-year-old actress, who is mom daughters Jackson, 14, and August, 12, talked about her daughters' interest in her wardrobe collection, revealing they are already keeping an eye on her dresses.

“We have a pretty good stockpile in the basement that they always talk about,” Theron told People.

The mom of two recalled, “My daughter had something to go to, and it was an all-white [theme], and she was rummaging through the boxes. And I was like, ‘No, no, no. This is not for now. For later.’”

Besides fashion, the Odyssey actress, who adopted Jackson in 2012 and August in 2015, dished on how raising her daughters has made her more committed to helping underprivileged children.

Back in September at the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project 2026 Block Party, the actress explained, “I think my interest in working with young people— and especially young girls — that’s kind of been part of my life before I had kids,” the actress said.

She went on to say, “And I think once my kids leave [the house], [it] will still be part of what I find is important, you know? When you have two young girls … when they live in privilege, if anything, it makes me realize that I want safety for every young person."

The doting mom added, “I see that my kids are safe and they have a safe space and they can flourish and they can succeed, not just survive. And I want that for young people."
