Blake Shelton shows off sweet husband moment at Gwen Stefani’s residency show in a heartfelt post
Blake Shelton has nothing but praise for his wife Gwen Stefani's musical talent.
The 49-year-old country singer has finally gotten a "night off" to attend Gwen's Las Vegas residency shows over the weekend and took to his Instagram account on Sunday to share a glimpse into Gwen's show along with a gushing note for her.
Blake shared a clip of himself enthusiastically singing along while Stefani performed on stage with No Doubt at their residency show at the Sphere in Las Vegas. He can be seen sitting in a VIP booth, clearly enjoying the performance.
Along with the video, the proud husband posted a heartfelt caption expressing pride in his wife and her bandmates. He also mentioned that his own residency schedule had previously stopped him from attending earlier shows.
“So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys for working their asses off and putting on this hell of a show.. finally got a night off to see it.. un-freakin-real,” he wrote.
During the performance, Gwen gave a shoutout to Shelton from the stage.
“It’s Memorial Day weekend, Blake Shelton's here, I'm going to drink some tequila. It's going to be good,” she said before performing Just a Girl.
Blake later shared off stage moments, including a clip of him receiving a bright green varsity jacket with “No Doubt” written on it. He proudly showed it off while Stefani smiled beside him before the couple shared a hug.
Gwen also posted about the night on Instagram Stories, calling it special.
“Last night was one for the books,” she wrote. “@nodoubt @spherevegas put on an incredible show!”
