Dry January, as it is popularly known, at the start of 2022, and since then he has reportedly come out of his addiction.
With this journey to sobriety, Holland said it made him feel more confident and appreciate “how much I love my best self."
His remarks come at Drink Las Vegas at the Bellagio, where he also spoke about his connection to the city.
“Being in Vegas is so, so easy for me; any excuse to get to Vegas is good," the Spider-Man said, referring to the temptation of Las Vegas.
Holland previously opened up about his decision to end his addiction to alcohol.
On the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, he said he had become "enslaved" to alcohol.
Then, when he attempted the Dry January challenge, he extended it to another month.
However, given England's drinking culture, it was a tough task.
"I felt like I couldn't be social," the actor said, referring to drinking at pubs as a key part of socializing.
"I felt like I couldn't go to the pub and have a lime soda. I couldn't go out for dinner. I was really, really struggling."
He recalled, "I just sort of said to myself, like, 'Why? Why am I enslaved to this drink? Why am I so obsessed by the idea of having this drink?'"
Registering this, Holland recounted setting a target of six months of no drinking, and when he achieved it, he said, "I was 'the happiest I've ever been in my life'."
