AI actress Tilly Norwood eyes work with Tom Holland but with a twist

Tilly Norwood, an AI actress who caused an uproar when she launched, has said she wants to work with British actor Tom Holland.

However, not with his real version. Instead, his digital one.

She said that when she was asked who she would like to work with, Tom Holland and Olivia Colman, “but only if it were their digital twins joining me in an AI production.”

Meanwhile, Eline van der Velden, the creator of Norwood, looked back at the sharp response she received when her AI actress debuted.

“But I had programmed her to become the most famous AI actress, so I don’t know how she did it, but she did, which is slightly scary,” she said while appearing at the Swiss Film Festival.

Velden continued, “It’s such an odd conundrum, the sort of negativity and then the positivity at the same time."

“At Particle 6, we’ve grown eight-fold. We have four departments; we’re big in AI advertising, film and TV, we’re doing a lot of co-productions and original commissions."

"We do a lot of AI consultancy, bringing AI workflows into other studios and production companies," she added.

Norwood was unveiled on July 30, 2025.
