One of them is looking for action against the police officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who lodged cases against the party leaders and workers.A number of former lawmakers and senior workers of the PTI were booked in scores of FIRs lodged by the police in different districts.

Many were arrested, their houses and hujras were raided after cases were lodged against them under different sections of law. A newly elected MNA from Lakki Marwat,Sher Afzal Marwat, on Monday told the media that they would ask these police officers to prove the charges or face action.

He even hinted at sending some senior police officers, including three regional and seven district police officers, to jail once the PTI assumed power.

According to Sher Afzal Marwat, the cops were involved in injustices done to the PTI workers and leaders. He said they kept wanting them to stop misusing their power but they continued lodging cases against PTI.

Sher Afzal said this not only damaged the reputation of the Police Service of Pakistan but also tarnished the image of the KP Police that has offered innumerable sacrifices for restoration of peace.

Another newly elected MNA from Kohat, associated with the PTI and former minister, Shehryar Afridi, warned the deputy superintendent of police, station house officers and the district administrative officers to tighten their belts. Both the speeches went viral on social media.
