ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has accepted the resignation of Justice Shahid Jamil of the Lahore High Court (LHC).According to the law ministry, the resignation has been accepted since February 2.A copy of the notification regarding acceptance of the resignation has been sent to the secretaries of the president and prime minister.The law ministry has issued a formal notification on acceptance of resignation.The copy has been sent to the judicial commission of Pakistan parliamentary committee and registrar.
