In Sindh, the government’s claims remained just claims as street crime continued in Karachi and authorities were occupied with only making statements since this year began. The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee and Police record has revealed the truth behind the government and police claims.

Last year, the daily rate of street crime was 240, while this year, it has increased to 247. Robbers have claimed the lives of 130 citizens, injuring more than 600, in contrast to the government’s assertions that efforts curb street crime are yielding results.
