Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar has immediately removed Larkana Education Board Chairman Professor Naseem Ahmed from his position. He has been removed in the light of a decision of the provincial ombudsman.

However, the caretaker government has remained silent on the matter of removing the chairman of the Hyderabad board on deputation and the chairman of the Mirpurkhas board on deputation from the federal government, and in this regard, it wants to maintain actions taken by former minister Ismail Rahoo.

The Supreme Court and the high court have declared postings on deputation as illegal. On the one hand, the decision of the ombudsman is being implemented, but on the other hand, there is silence on the matter of officers posted on deputation.

It has been learned that the charge of the Larkana board is also being given to the Larkana commissioner. Meanwhile, the Karachi commissioner has taken charge of the post of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, and the commissioner of Nawabshah has taken charge of the post of the chairman of the Sukkur Education Board.
