CEC invites MQM to Dec 4 meeting to discuss its concerns

ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has invited the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan to a meeting on December 4 over their concerns regarding the upcoming general election and delimitation-related matters.
“The chief election commissioner, Sikandar Sultan Raja, has invited the MQM for a meeting and talks at the Election Commission Secretariat in Islamabad on Monday, December 4, 2023, to discuss and address the concerns of the MQM,” the commission’s spokesman said.
The MQM has reservations and concerns regarding the delimitation of constituencies of Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur and Mirpurkhas.
