LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators have traded Iftikhar Ahmed with Multan Sultans in exchange for Rilee Rossouw for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
Sultans also received the first pick in the Platinum round and the first Silver category pick as part of the deal. Iftikhar expressed his excitement to join Sultans and represent the passionate fans of Multan. He aims to help the team achieve their goal of winning the PSL trophy.
Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan welcomed Iftikhar, praising his outstanding all-round skills and positive impact on the team. Rossouw’s trade to Quetta marks his return to the franchise where he made his PSL debut.
In another major trade, Imad Wasim has been traded from Karachi Kings to Islamabad United for Hassan Ali. Wasim, who led Karachi to their maiden PSL title in the fifth edition, has been acquired by United under the Platinum category.
Hassan, who represented Islamabad in the last season, will play for Karachi Kings under Diamond category. Karachi Kings received Islamabad United’s first-round Silver pick in exchange for their second-round Silver pick. The PSL Draft is scheduled to take place on December 13.
