Literatus named PAL board member

PESHAWAR: Dr Gulzar. A.Jalal, head of English Department, Edwardes College Peshawar, has been appointed as member Board of Governors of the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL), Islamabad, for a period of three years.
A press release said he will represent the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the board The National Heritage and Culture Division issued a notification in this regard on the 7th Nov, 2023.
Dr Gulzar Jalal was nominated by caretaker chief minister through a notification of Khyber Pakhtunkwa Government, Administration Department on October 9. He has always sought the promotion of language, literature and culture and the appointment has recognized his contribution.
