Paramedics to elect office-bearers on June 24

MARDAN: Provincial Paramedical Association, Mardan chapter will elect office-bearers at an event in the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) here on June 24. In this connection, a meeting was held at DHQ, with the association president Sharafatullah Yousafzai in the chair.The meeting declared that according to the constitution of the association, the tenure of the cabinet of Mardan chapter had been completed and election for new cabinet would be held on June 24. An election committee was also constituted, comprising chairman Luqman Gul Aurakzai, Shamsul Taj, Anwar Khan, Mohammad Riaz Barki and Nasir Khan.

Election commission was also constituted in the meeting, including chairman Sharfatullah Yousafzai, Mujahid Azam and Haji Bashir Ahmed.According to the schedule, nomination papers will be submitted on June 3 till 2pm, objections date on nomination paper will be June 5, date for the withdrawal of nomination papers would be June 5, scrutiny of nomination paper and final list of candidates will be displayed on June 7. Polling will be held at DHQ hospital from 9am till 4pm on June 24.
