KARACHI: A 34 months old child in Karachi’s Gadap area has been diagnosed with polio, the first case of the year 2016 in Pakistan.
According to Director Health Services Dr Zafar Ijaz, thirty-four months old child, Ejaz Khan s/o Sher Ali Khan is resident of UC-7 Gadap and he was administered anti-polio vaccine nine times.
Health Department has confirmed the case after positive tests of the minor.
