WELLINGTON: As if lack of form and a combination wasn’t enough, Pakistan World Cup squad is also hit by injury problems.
Pakistan’s World Cup preparations were jolted with the news of injuries to fast bowlers Wahab Riaz and Ehsan Adil and the recurrence of the wrist injury to Sohaib Maqsood.
According to sources the team management has instructed three players to be ready to be inducted in the team. The three names include Shoib Malik, Sohail Tanvir and Azhar Ali.
On the other hand the team management has denied any injury fears and stated that to keep replacements on stand by is routine.
