One of the most dynamic actors in Bollywood, Nawazuudin Siddiqui has rekindled the comic reporting by a Pakistani TV reporter, Chaand Nawab from back in the days in the latest Eid flick “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” – also starring Salman Khan.
Chaand Nawab’s beeper for Indus TV regarding people leaving for their native towns from Karachi with a moving train in the background became an instant hit on social media mainly due to his desperate yet humorous attempts to record the scene in time.
Nawazuddin pulls off the rendition in the most hilarious way depicting the urgency, desperation, time constraint and helplessness of a TV reporter.
The Bollywood maestro portrays Chaand Nawab’s original attempts to speak extempore in order to finish the beeper before the train in the background leaves the station.
“Bajrangi Bahijaan” is the first movie being produced by the superstar himself under his banner Salman Khan Films (SKF).
The movie revolves around a young special Pakistani child being lost in India as the hero of the film, Khan, strives for the safe return of the six-year-old girl to her home country.
