Hina Rabbani Khar announces to serve defamation notice to Fawad Chaudhry
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has put power theft allegations against Hina Rabbani Khar
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar has announced to serve defamation notice to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
Hina said, ‘Fawad Chaudhry should issue any statement after due consideration. Character assassination through allegations has become routine practice of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
She went on to say, “To hide its incompetency, PTI has been putting allegations against the opposition.”
"I am serving a defamation notice to the Hon Min for Information. In my 16 years in politics, I have always chosen to ignore slander and false allegations but it seems politics has now been reduced to name calling, false accusations and character assassination," said Hina.
It may be noted here that Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has put power theft allegations against Hina Rabbani Khar.
Fawad Chaudhry alleged that the former foreign minister had been on stay order in power theft case for two years.
