Mohsin Abbas Haider is the latest star angered by Lux Style Awards nominations
Mohsin Abbas Haider turned to his social media expressing his ire at the award show for completely overlooking his drama serial ‘Meri Guriya’ from the list of nominees, asking the organizers to provide an answer while also calling them out for being concerned about money only.
The Lux Style Awards this year seem to be stirring up quite a storm as Pakistani actor Mohsin Abbas Haider has stepped forward disgruntled about not seeing his drama ‘Meri Guriya’ amongst the nominations of 2019.
The Na Maloom Afraad actor turned to his social media expressing his ire at the award show for completely overlooking his drama serial ‘Meri Guriya’ from the list of nominees, asking the organizers to provide an answer while also calling them out for being concerned about money only.
“First of all Thank you for Nominating Our Song “Na Jaa” in Best Singer of the Year Category. But I am highly disappointed not to see a Single Nomination of our Drama #MeriGuriya. I don’t know the reason (which I would love to know, if any) but this is very disrespectful for the whole team of #MeriGuriya. And thanks for making my Belief more strong that let’s just make Money and run our kitchens.
Thanks,” he stated on Facebook.
The serial brought to light the issue of child abuse, female empowerment through a powerful plot and as told by the actor earlier, the reason behind him doing the serial was his daughter's death in real life.
