Priyanka Chopra thinks she's a terrible wife for not knowing how to cook

Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra is challenging the prevalent notion of all those that think the worth of a woman is defined by the way she handles her household, in a distinct and humorous manner, calling herself a ‘terrible wife.’

The 36-year-old Quantico star made her appearance on the acclaimed show The View where she brought to the limelight her life after getting hitched to Hollywood hunk Nick Jonas and how she is does not conform to the ‘typical’ model of what is expected of women in a marriage.

“I can’t cook. I told him that when he proposed... I said, ‘listen, you are from a good Southern home, you are used to your mom making amazing food [but] you are not marrying that [type of] girl. I can’t cook,” she stated.

“I am a terrible wife in that sense. But the most amazing thing is that, when I told him ‘Babe I cannot cook,’ he said, ‘it’s alright babe, neither can I.’”, she adds.

She went on talking about her marriage saying: “Marriage feels so different, it’s like the family you choose.”
