MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan finally responded to Narendra Modi tweet after more than a week endorsing Indian PM’s call for voting during upcoming elections.
Modi on March 13, in a series of tweets, tagged film stars, politicians, players and journalists asking them to help him bring out the voters.
Today, Salman Khan retweeted Modi’s message and said: “We are a democracy and it is every Indian's right to vote. I urge every eligible Indian to exercise your right and participate in making the Government”.
Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan however, had responded the prime minister within few hours.
“Absolutely right sir, Hon PM. Let us all engage as citizens of the biggest democracy in the world. Let us fulfill our responsibility, and avail of our right to get our voice heard. Vote!,” he had said.
