Sammy showers love on Puyol as the duo meets in Karachi

KARACHI: It's not a common sight for two highly successful and revered international sports personalities to rub shoulders with each other in the city of lights.

However on Sunday, this rare sighting was witnessed by Karachiites, during Pakistan Super League 4 finale at National Stadium, when Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy, and Spanish football great Carles Puyol met each other.

Taking to Twitter, West Indies' cricket stalwart Darren Sammy expressed his sentiments on meeting Puyol in Karachi.

"From one Captain to another.. It was a pleasure meeting @carles5puyol in Karachi," wrote Sammy.

On the other hand, Barca legend Puyol had arrived in Karachi on Saturday to promote football in Pakistan.
