Christchurch: New Zealand beat Bangladesh by eight wickets in the second one-day international in Christchurch on Saturday to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series.
Martin Guptill top-scored with 118 while Kane Williamson was unbeaten on 65 as the hosts reached their 227-run target in 36.1 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Bangladesh were all out for 226 with Mohammad Mithun making 57.
The final match in the series is in Dunedin on Wednesday to be followed by three Tests.
