Shaheryar to watch second Test in Dhaka
KARACHI: Shaheryar Muhammad Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is due leave for Dhaka on Tuesday to watch the second cricket Test between the Bangladesh and Pakistan starting on May 6.
During his stay in Bangladesh, he would also be holding meetings with officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to discuss future plans.

KARACHI: Shaheryar Muhammad Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is due leave for Dhaka on Tuesday to watch the second cricket Test between the Bangladesh and Pakistan starting on May 6.
During his stay in Bangladesh, he would also be holding meetings with officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to discuss future plans.
“I want to motivate the team ahead of the second Test,” he said.
Pakistan suffered 3-0 loss in the One-day International series and Shahid Afridi’s team was beaten in the one-off Twenty20 International against Bangladesh.
PCB chief is believed to fly to Kolkata from Dhaka to meet Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Jagmohan Dalmiya.
During the meeting with the BCCI chief, Shaheryar Khan is expected to
discuss the holding of proposed Pakistan’s home series against arch rivals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in December.
BCCI officials have expressed their keenness to play series against Pakistan subject to clearance from the India Government.
Pakistan was expected to play two Test matches, five One-day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals against India.
Two old adversaries have not played bi-lateral series since 2007 after the attacks in Mumbai. (APP)
