VEHARI: Authorities on Wednesday executed one more death row convict here at the District Jail.
Abdul Ghaffor was handed down death sentence after he was proven guilty of rape and murder of an eight years old girl in 1991.
His appeal of clemency was rejected by the president of Pakistan on April 6 2015.

VEHARI: Authorities on Wednesday executed one more death row convict here at the District Jail.
Abdul Ghaffor was handed down death sentence after he was proven guilty of rape and murder of an eight years old girl in 1991.
His appeal of clemency was rejected by the president of Pakistan on April 6 2015.
On Tuesday, Munir Hussain convicted of double murder was hanged in the same detention facility
He had killed his nephew and niece over a land dispute in 2000. Pakistan has sent almost hundred death row convicts to gallows since it lifted the moratorium on capital punishment after a deadly militant attack on an army-run school in Peshawar on December 16 last year.
