Liverpool's Mohamed Salah to observe fast during Champions League final?
Egyptian star footballer Mohamed Salah who represents Liverpool is a devout Muslim and is reported to have observed Ramadan until this weekend.
As Liverpool and Real Madrid geared up for the final of the Champions League, there has been conflicting reports on whether Salah will observe fast for today's match.
According to a report in Egyptian media, business tycoon Naguib Sawris has announced on Twitter that he will be fasting on Saturday in support for Liverpool player Salah.
The tycoon believes Salah will be observing fast during the final match today.
Egypt Independent reported that Sawiris expressed disagreement with calls for Salah to break his fast on the Liverpool-Real Madrid match day.
“Those asking Mohamed Salah to break his fast on the final match day do not understand that firstly he would never do so, and secondly that God will stand by him for holding on to his fast and will appreciate his effort to do so.”
