NEW YORK: Amid all the controversies being drawn at the royal wedding dress, British actress Emilia Clarke defended Megan Markle saying the dress was beautiful and she smashed the look in that dress.
Appearing for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the Star Wars newly-joined actress encouraged the royal bride’s look, and said it was rather ‘beautiful, gorgeous and amazing’.
‘I think she kind of smashed it’, Fallon humorously asked ‘in England’, Clarke uttered ‘killed it!’
The Solo star also told how she had accidentally held a screening of the movie for her friends and family on the day of the royal wedding, and while she assumed no one would appear ‘they did’ – she instead watched the royal wedding while everyone there watched the movie.
While the 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' film crew is ongoing promotional tours, Clark was next spotted with co-workers Tiffany Haddish, author Hal Rubenstein, Brian d’Arcy James, Dolly Wells, and Chewbacca in another NY screening on May 21 after it was sighted at Cannes.
