It’s confirmed! Mahira will grace Cannes Film Festival this year

Mahira Khan has been riding high on all the success she has been receiving this year  as the diva awaits the release of her upcoming film  ‘Saat Din Mohabbat In’ this Eid. 

And now the actress will be attending this year’s Cannes Film Festival which is to be held from May 9 to May 20 where she will be representing L’Oreal Paris Pakistan Haircare as their official spokesperson.

“I am quite sure that my hair will be open given that I am associated with L’Oreal Paris Pakistan Haircare,” shared Mahira, “but I don’t know yet what I’ll be wearing … whether I’ll be opting for more traditional clothes or Western couture. It’s slightly nerve-racking although simultaneously exciting.”

With this feat, Mahira Khan has become the first actress from Pakistan to grace the Cannes Film Festival ever.

“Cannes is a festival that every actor looks up to,” Mahira said. “I am glad that I got this opportunity. L’Oreal Paris Pakistan represents women of worth and it’s something that I value greatly. When I was announced as the brand’s spokesperson I gave an impromptu speech on how we cannot let anyone define our worth. I stand by it.”

Other celebrities attending the Cannes this year to represent L’Oreal are Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria as well as Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor.

On the other hand, Indian actress Kangana Ranaut is also gearing up for her sizzling debut at Cannes this year.
