With several of Bollywood’s star kids prepping up to break into the industry, famed actor Arjun Rampal has expressed different beliefs for his daughters.
The actor, in conversation with an Indian media outlet, had vocalized his concern about his children not being old enough yet to make a stern decision about their careers.
The 45-year-old ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor talking about his daughters -Myra, 12 and Mahikaa 16, had stated: “I don’t think either of them really knows right now what they want to do in life. And that’s fair enough. For some people, it takes time to understand it.”
Upon being asked if he wished for his daughters to follow his path, Arjun had stated: “I won’t groom my daughters to become a part of this industry only for them to realise later that they don’t like this profession.”
He further added that if they want to opt for a field that is outside the film industry he would back them completely and on the other hand if they wish to join the industry then he would guide them accordingly.
The actor also mentioned that he would make it a point to not glamorize the true picture of Bollywood and would make sure to tell them the job is extremely complex and is not as alluring as it appears to be.
