DUBAI: Manchester will host Pakistan-India clash on June 16, according to a tentative schedule of World Cup 2019, revealed by the ESPNCricinfo.com Tuesday.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will give the final nod to the schedule approved by the CEC (chief executives' committee) in the Board meeting on Thursday.
The ten-team World Cup is scheduled to run from May 30 to July 14, 2019 at 12 venues across England and Wales.
The inaugural match will be played between hosts England and South Africa at The Oval on May 30 while two semi-finals will be played at Manchester on July 9 and at Birmingham on July 11, respectively.
The final of the 12th World Cup will be staged on July 14 at Lord’s.
Pakistan like other contestants will play against all other nine teams in the 12th World Cup. Their fixtures are listed below:
May 31: vs West Indies at Nottingham
June 3: vs England at Nottingham
June 7: vs Sri Lanka at Bristol
June 12: vs Australia at Taunton
June 16: vs India at Manchester
June 23: vs South Africa at Lord’s (London)
June 26: vs New Zealand at Birmingham
June 29: vs Afghanistan at Leeds
July 5: vs Bangladesh at Lord’s (London)
