Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput expecting another child

MUMBAI: Bollywood’s dearly held couple, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have greatly hoisted the excitement of fans all around, after the actor announced the soon-to-arrive addition in their family.

The couple took to Instagram to announce the news of Mira’s pregnancy in an unconventional yet endearing way along with the help of their first-born child.

The Instagram post showed a jubilant Misha lying down alongside a chalked drawing of balloons with the words ‘Big Sister’ written above it.

The power couple, who got married in July 2015, are having their second child 18 months after Misha’s birth in August 2017.

In spite of the ‘Jab We Met’ actor’s wife having a 12-year gap with him as well as not hailing from the industry, she has had no trouble winning hearts of people all around.

Talking to Indian media outlets at an event last year, Mira’s words had attested to her being a responsible mother in spite of her still being young.

“I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her? She is not a puppy; I want to be there for her as a mother,” she stated.
