Pakistani beauty icon and acting diva Mahira Khan and Bollywood queen and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seem to have developed a fancy for stripes. Recently, both of them were spotted wearing red and black striped jumpsuits and we couldn’t resist the temptation of comparison.

Aishwarya was seen adorning Dhruv Kapoor outfit for the latest cover of ‘Femina’. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, the superstar accessorized her look with a statement finger ring, black buckled leather belt and metallic nail color. Spicing up the look she did her hair in tight curls and bronze makeup. The buttons were left undone and a matching overcoat was added to ramp up the look.

Pakistani heart-throb Mahira was spotted in a similar ensemble in London while attending the UK Asian Film Festival. The Pakistani diva played with a smooth, simpler look with a black overcoat to kill the British cold with a buttoned up top.

With a single silver bracelet, she went with a light as skin makeup and let her hair loose to reiterate her desi diva persona. Styled by Maneka Harsinghani, Mahira did complete justice to the look.

Aish, 44, has served as a global brand ambassador for L’Oreal for several years whereas Mahira, 33, is also serving the same international brand as its ambassador.
